Coming out of beauty school, I assisted 2 women who are elite hand tied artists and got some of the best education in the extension industry. I eventually became the salon's manager as well as lead stylist and blonding specialist. After 4 years at Refinery 208 Salon, I decided to go independent + open what is now Blonde Psyche! I have put so much intention and love into this space with my clients in mind. I have a passion for blonding, lived-in color, and hand tied extensions. I love giving women their dream hair as well as seeing their confidence shift from the beginning to the end of their appointment! My 'why' is quite simple.
Growing up I always had very thin and brittle hair that could never seem to grow past my shoulders. I never let it define me, but it wasn’t one of my favorite features. Senior year, my cheerleading team was going to Nationals to compete and I wanted that huge cheer ponytail SO BAD. I knew my hair would never achieve that look on its own, so I somehow convinced my parents to let me get hair extensions.

OH. MY. GOD. What a life altering moment that was for me. Not only did I now have this luscious long mermaid hair, but I found a newfound confidence in myself. Hair extensions truly changed the way I felt and carried myself. It was a brand new me in a sense.

This is why I do what I do. To bring that immense joy and confidence that I felt, to each and every one of my clients. Whether it be color, blonding, or extensions, I want my clients to leave my chair feeling transformed.

If I am not in the salon, you can find me spending precious quality time with my parents. I am an only child and my parents are my sun and moon. I also have 2 rescue dogs, Kash & Sophie, as well as a cat named Morty. They are quite a handful but I wouldn't have it any other way. I grew up traveling to England and absolutely adore the English countryside. If I'm ever on vacation, you can find me there enjoying an immense amount of cappuccinos.

I was very blessed to have received a hair day with Claire for my birthday! It turned out to be my best gift ever. I received a color and a weave and absolutely love it. My hair was healthier when I left, then when I arrived because of all her hard meticulous work. Her styling abilities are off the chart. On a personal note, Claire has to be one of the sweetest, and definitely the most genuine of the many people who have crossed my path. She has gained a new client, and a new friend. I know several people who go there for extensions, coloring and weaves and her work is amazing.
